"Art Stuff"
"As far back as I can remember, I've always had a passion for creating. As a young girl, my birthday and Christmas wishlists revolved primarily around one theme..."art stuff."
Barbies and dolls were never really a thing for me... but anything that I could make with my own two hands, I wanted!
Paint sets, crayons, clay, beads. Basically any and every "thing" that could be made into "something" would keep me occupied for hours on end.
You know the isle at Hobby Lobby with nothing but craft kits?
Yep. My FAVORITE isle. Ever.
Now, fast forward a decade or two, and I'm finally living out my childhood dream."
"Lifetime Passion"
"There's something special about an artist's heart... a light that can't be dimmed. Over time, and with a lot of grit and determination, I've been able to grow my art business from local shows to selling pieces to collectors across the country!
To be able to turn a lifetime passion into a blossoming business venture is exciting, surreal, and at times frightening, but I am so beyond blessed and thankful to be able to create and share my love for art with you all.
I'm looking SO forward to creating something beautiful for you!"
"Divinely Inspired"
"Creating art isn't always easy, but to me it's worth it... it's my passion, my saving grace.
It's freeing.
It's vulnerable.
It's authentic and raw.
It's exposing yourself openly for the world to either love or hate.
And while, at times, that can be frightening, it's also so refreshing and pure. Therapeutic, if you will. And I believe, divinely inspired.
Art is taking your thoughts and dreams and ideas, and turning them into something tangible that can be shared, appreciated, and enjoyed by the masses.
Creative expression is a gift!
One single piece, whether a painting, story, sculpture, dance, song, recipe, or natural wonder, can be perceived in two hundred thousand different ways by two hundred thousand different people... because beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. And that beauty, in itself, is magical.
I encourage you to find what you're good at, what you create best. Find your God given talent (we all have one) and do it. Don't ever let your head tell your heart that you can't.
